New TRON Weekly Report Discusses BitTorrent File System (BFTS) Launch, Name Change and More
- TRON Foundation released their weekly report to update consumers on their recent progress.
- The TRX token is trading at $0.035672 on CMC right now.
Tron (TRX) has seen some impressive growth this week, which appears to coincide with the recent Weekly Report that the Foundation put out. The report is published each week to let their users know about the ecosystem’s progress and the upcoming changes that users need to know about.
The report indicated that the testing phase of the Protobuff check has now finished, as well as the JS solidity compiler testing. However, the testing of the Sun Network is still going on. The team also announced that the design of the Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) solution is still in progress.
Users of Wallet and Ledger will now see the addition of the TLS-enabled support that has been planned by developers. Now, the team is working to launch the BitTorrent File System (BTFS), which is responsible for 17 API references. The features implemented with these references will include AutoUpdate, Name Change, Status-Server, and others, and all of them are presently on track.
The BTFS will be launched on May 30th. Considering the weight that TRX holds on CoinMarketCap, there is a fairly good chance that the launch will end up pushing the token to the top 30 rankings while improving adoption in the crypto space. When the platform held its ICO, the company brought in $7 million, holding a market cap of $340 million.
Presently, the TRON token is priced at $0.035672, rising by 12% in the last 24 hours. This increase has pushed the token up to the #10 spot on CoinMarketCap, which was previously held by Cardano. It also pushed up the BitTorrent (BTT) price, which is rose by 17.32% in the last 24 hours. As a result, BTT is trading at $0.001812.
