Study Shows Bitcoin Is The Favourite Coin Of Most Of The Investors
In a recent study released by Value Walk, almost 47% of the individuals surveyed prefer to invest in Bitcoin (BTC) rather than in other digital assets. At the same time, two-thirds of the respondents mentioned that the crypto winter would end as soon as in 2019. This report has also provided information about which is users’ most favorite exchange.
Bitcoin Remains The Favourite Crypto In The Market
The survey started by asking which is the favorite coin of each of the respondents. 46.7% answered Bitcoin, followed by Ethereum with 31.4% and Ripple with 21%. Information and data for other coins have not been reported.
The next question asked which is the favorite crypto exchange for users. They mentioned that Binance is the best exchange with 71.3% of the respondents thinking in this way. Meanwhile, Coinbase received 15.5% of the votes followed by Bittrex with 13.2%.
This report has also analyzed the cryptocurrency market and how it has been evolving over time. Back in 2018, the crypto space entered a bear trend that affected the price of several digital currencies. Indeed, Bitcoin fell over 80% and other digital assets lost more than 90% of their value. 76 percent of the individuals surveyed said that they believe that the bear market, also known as “crypto winter” will be over this year.
Moreover, 80% of the respondents mentioned that they would like to purchase a cryptocurrency, while 20% of the respondents said that they would wait for the market to recover.
At the same time, investors are also ready to invest in tokenized property. 65% of the respondents said that they would invest more than $1,000 in these tokenized assets. 25% said that they would just invest less than $1,000.
Another interesting question was related to how many people would use virtual currencies on a daily basis. 52% of the respondents mentioned that they have used virtual currencies in 2018 to invest or run their business, buy electronics or pay for other goods and services.
Finally, respondents have also been asked about the pontential disruption of different industries with digital currencies. The results show that land registries and recording offices would be the most enhanced sector with the implementation of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, followed by agents and brokers and title companies.
