NewEconoLabs (NEL) NEO Blockchain Game Developer and Trinity Partner for Wallet App Integration
Trinity Collaborates with NewEconoLabs (NEL) to Further Develop NEO Community
Privacy-backed, universal off-chain scaling solution provider, Trinity has recently joined forces with China-based NEO ecosystem developers, NewEconoLabs (NEL) in an effort to expand the NEO community ecosystem. The duo will be working on two areas, which include Trinity’s integration of NEL’s main project, NNS and enhancing the NEO Gaming Ecosystem.

Trinity Wallet to Integrate NNS
As per a Medium post that provided more details on the partnership, it seems like the Trinity Wallet, which is also referred to as a NEO eco wallet, “will integrate NNS’s domain name service”. This has been done for the utilization and registration procedures of the NEO Name Service (NNS).
NNS’ domain name services will benefit both Trinity and NEO supporters, as the integration will allow users of the former’s wallet to effortlessly transfer tokens. It has also been revealed that off-chain transfers will also be permitted. Another option users have is that “either party is able to close the channel and settle on-chain,” adding that “opening and closing of channels” is the only way to enforce on-chain settlement.
This effort will also eliminate the need to enter long wallet addresses, which often times can go wrong. In addition, it will reduce wait time for transactions, increase security and ensure that the network remains decentralized.
NEL and Trinity’s Contribution Towards the NEO Gaming Ecosystem
Based on the claims made, the duo will work towards “commercial application of blockchain-based games,” while also focusing on the “co-construction of blockchain-based game application ecosystem.” It seems like Trinity’s technical specs will be used for the blockchain-based game and also as a source that will help solve complex problems.
Trinity’s commitment on scalability is a factor that brought the two teams together, as the former allows multiple transactions to be made off-chain smoothly, noting this to be ideal for gamers. For instance, if a gamer chooses to play via the Trinity Network, he or she is required to open a state channel, which will serve as the house for gaming. Since gaming involves several transactions, which negatively impacts the on-chain. Hence, the reason for putting them off-chain.
Commenting on this partnership is the Trinity team, who sees the endeavor as one encourages the parties to “ jointly organize a technical salon to share the use cases of Trinity state channel technology in the game field and improve the performance of blockchain games,” adding that the efforts directed towards the NEO Gaming Ecosystem will result in the sharing and processing of “more information more securely and efficiently”, while reducing “on-chain costs.”
