This is the second time that the exchange is experiencing similar problems in a very short period of time. In August, the exchange underwent a Distributed Denial of Service attack, connected with data fetches and log in.
Several users reported several similar problems on the famous social network Twitter. At the same time, other complications arose such as orders not being displayed, reduced liquidity and more.
Users were completely angry about these issues and problems that have affected trading operations on the platform. This is quite important since BitMEX is one of the most important and recognized exchanges in the market.
After this happened, Bitcoin and other virtual currencies experienced a sudden price increase. During the last weeks, most of the virtual currencies operated without big changes, however, in the last hours, Some cryptocurrencies are growing more than 5%.
BitMEX should be very responsible with the issues that it is having. The crypto community is pressing platforms to offer better services and improve their products. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has decided not to approve a Bitcoin ETF because the crypto market is not yet prepared for it, alleging that cryptos could be manipulated.
According to CoinMarketCap,Bitcoin has registered an increase in the last 24 hours of 1.3%. Bitcoin has a price of $6,658 dollars and has a market capitalization of $115 billion dollars.
