Notable Crypto Industry Expert Katherine Wu Joins Notation Capital
Katherine Wu, the previous director for the business development at Messari, has a new job now. She will be the new principal of Notation Capital, known as a venture capital company that is focused on investing in the tech sector, which includes the crypto industry.
The company was founded by Alex Lines and Nicholas Chirls and its goal is to invest in several promising companies of the technology industry, which includes an increasingly large number of blockchain firms.
According to the company, they were not even looking for someone to work in this position, but they found Katherine and were delighted by her skills. Because of her unique talent, she was invited to become a part of the team.
Notation Capital has recently hired Thomas Bailey, too. The crypto mining expert joined Chirls and Lines last month.
Katherine Wu And Her Love For Crypto
Wu affirmed that she discovered cryptocurrencies while graduating from Law School in New York. She first got to know what Bitcoin and crypto were and only fell in love with the crypto world later. According to her, this was the inverse of what most people do.
Sometime after she was already into cryptos, ICOs started to be a thing and the market started to grow a lot. She was puzzled by some of their legal ramifications at first, which is normal, considering her Law background, but she became considerably more interested in the technology as time passed.
Wu was one of the people who founded Messari and made a name in the crypto business. Change happens, though, so she decided to follow a new path now and we’ll probably hear a lot about her in her new position at Notation Capital.
