Nouriel Roubini Claims Morgn Creek Digital Founders Invested in the Blockchain Terminal Scam
Nouriel Roubini recently picked a fight with Morgan Creek Digital, claiming the founders invested in the biggest scam of 2018. It would seem that this feud is not yet over. This was after Buffer Bet 2.0 feud between one of the founders and Roubini. Nouriel said that the founder of Morgan Creek Digital has invested in the largest fraud of the year. Things escalated fast after that.
Brilliant @MarkYusko U just invested into the scam of the year:https://t.co/Z44hPTiVGW
All this after losing 80+% for your investors this year in your crypto shitcoin fund! Good you moved from one failure to the next! Keep digging in that cesspool now with a shitcoin terminal! https://t.co/upubdbmu0r— Nouriel Roubini (@Nouriel) December 11, 2018
What Roubini Was Talking About
Roubini was referring to a recent incident of the Blockchain Terminal ICO. A person believed to be Shaun McDonald led the ICO. However, it turned out that it was Boaz Manor, a hedge funder. In 2012, he was sent to prison for running an $800 million hedge fund illegally and defrauding investors.
Nouriel talked about the scam in his tweet. However, Yusko, one of the founders, was not letting up either. He said that they never invested in the company and had only made a demo of the terminal like many others. Pompliano also chimed in. He said that they never invested in the company. He went on to state that Roubini teaches at a university where student pile on debt for a worthless piece of paper. Thus, he asked who was running the real scam.
Pompliano added that Roubini was yelling for attention and that he was addicted to it. He advised others not to give him any. Pompliano said that it was obvious Roubini was spread half-truths and nonsense. In his opinion, Roubini wanted to play a role but it was obsolete. Thus, they should ignore him.
No one invested in the company from Morgan Creek. You’re wrong….again.
Just like your call to sell Bitcoin at $58.
You teach at a university that riddles students with crippling debt in exchange for a worthless piece of paper.
What’s the real scam here??

The Buffet Bet 2.0
In another recent spate between Roubini and Popliano, aka Pomp, Nouriel Roubini was invited to a wager. He was asked to bet against how crypto and S&P 500 index would perform in the next 10 years.
This wager is straight out of Buffet’s playbook. The buffet had bet that the S&P Index fund would outperform five hedge funds that were actively managed. He won the bet in 2017 and donated the proceeds to charity.
Pomp did the same. However, his bet was on crypto. He said that in the next 10 years, it would outperform the S&P 500 index fund. The bet is open to investors who believe otherwise. Roubini, also called Dr. Doom of crypto, commented on the recent price plunge where BTC hit a low of $3,280.
He said that the meltdown would continue since BTC and crypto were nothing but baloney manure nonsense. Pomp then decided to invite him to the Buffet Bet 2.0. Roubini did reply to this request. He said that Pomp has been constantly changing goal posts as bag holders have lost up to 90% of their value.
The Meltdown
All the top digital currencies have thus far been losing value in double digits. It would seem like Roubini is right. There is no sign of a let up in December 2018 and going forward into the New Year. This is contrary to predictions that had been made all year.
