OKEx Partners With The EPL To Increase Brand Awareness
OKEx, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange platforms, with its headquarters in Malta, has announced that it has concluded arrangement to advertise its brand during the English Premiership Matches.
Based on the agreement reached, advert for OKEx’s brand will be placed at the broadcast boards, just beside the pitch while the games are being played.
The statement which was issued today says the advert for OKEx’s brand will be featured in selected league matches that involves top clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. To be specific, it has been agreed that OKEx’s advert will be featured in just 4 games.
The match fixtures that will feature the OKEx’s adverts include:
- Arsenal Vs AFC Bournemouth which is fixed for November 25
- Brighton and Hove Albion Vs Huddersfield Town which is slated for December 1
- Chelsea Vs Wolverhampton which is on the 5th of December
- Liverpool and AFC Bournemouth which has been fixed for 8th of December
Andy Cheung, OKEx’s Operations Head made a comment regarding the advertising deal. In his comment, he said:
‘’We speak a universal language in the world of football. It is entertaining enough to connect people and unites them, regardless of tribe, race, color or tongue’’.
“It is agreeable to say that Blockchain technology has similar standards and ethics. It is very amazing to see that digital technology is getting wide acceptance and even used within the sports industry. So, we are very delighted and honored to be part of this feat”.

In order to further attract the interest of its advert arrangement with EPL, the securities exchange has decided to unveil a strategic marketing program in which successful contestants would receive a prize of fifty dollars.
The announcement from the securities exchange has it that the contest will begin from today and last all through till the 10th of December, 2018. So, the winner will be called out and awarded 50 USDT on the closing ceremony and award day.
Ironically, this announcement comes a few days after OKEx vehemently cancelled some of the transactions and investments from its esteemed customers, resulting in significant losses for traders and investors on the platform.
The platform seems to have rebounded though courtesy of increased trading activity on the platform, most of which were in Bitcoin Cash futures. These trades were to the tune of $135 million and is indicative of traders’ and investors’ confidence in the platform.
