Ontology and South Korea’s Hanwha Life Insurance to Develop a Blockchain Academy Program
Ontology has joined hands with South Korea’s first life insurance company, Hanwha Life, in a bid to develop a “Blockchain Academy” program.
According to an official announcement, Hanwha Life is looking to use Ontology’s blockchain to come up with an effective Blockchain Academy program, which was launched in June 2018.
Boasting around 5,000 registrations, the program is expected to make a major contribution to the blockchain, expediting the adoption of the technology. It will help beginners to move from learning basics to becoming a master in developing dApps on the Ontology blockchain quickly.
The Blockchain Academy Program
The Blockchain Academy Program will include various courses aimed at developers. These include:
- Developer documentation and one-click start
- Private network Solo Chain
- Command line tool Ontology CLI
- Smart contract development software SmartX and VSCode Extension
- dApp development framework Punica
- SDKs and dAPIs in different programming languages
- Community-developed Chrome Extension Cyano; Signature service.
Incubate Projects Interested in Ontology
The partnership between the two companies does not only help Hanwha Life Insurance develop a blockchain course for developers; it also allows Ontology to use the program and DREAMPLUS, the owner of Hanwha’s Blockchain Academy, to incubate both individuals and businesses interested in their blockchain in South Korea.
The ontology also expects to continue developing world-class developer tools and APIs to allow for easy development.
