Openfinance to Support Protos Hedge Fund Token (PRTS) to Its Trading Platform
OpenFinance Network, an alternative, end-to-end crypto trading, management, clearing and settlement platform, has reportedly added Protos, a hedge fund, to its portfolio. The Network, popularly called OFN, trades 24/7.
Protos, on the other hand, is one of the pioneering crypto hedge funds to get listed and be traded on alternative trading platforms. Getting added to OFN, the crypto hedge fund will trade with an identifiable symbol PRTS.
OpenFinance Network is widely revered in the regulated digital security trading industry. The platform, founded in 2014, is one of the first regulated crypto security trading platforms targeting alternative assets.
It primarily deals with several popular cryptocurrencies and serves qualified investors American and foreign investors. And with the addition of Protos, all of the traders using OpenFinance Network will effectively access the hedge fund platform and trade PRTS on the platform. They will trade with them without any hassle.
OFN Founder Praised Protos
Meanwhile, Openfinance platform is thrilled to bring Protos, their first tokenized hedge fund, onboard, according to the platform’s founder, Juan Hernandez. He revealed that the team behind Protos Asset Management had been working around the clock to ensure the success of their product offering.
He further added that OpenFinance Network’s portfolio now includes a range of assets, including Blockchain Capital, an SF Venture Capital Fund. According to him, they have hedge funds, an age-old traditional asset class, albeit theirs is available in a contemporary, digitalized format.
Protos, whose STO took place in 2017, claims to profit off the rampant volatility of digital currencies. The hedge fund claims to have identified ‘profitable opportunities’ available in the security token and digital assets market and exploits them while minimizing losses and risks it faces. The platform supposedly tracks the market, especially during when the markets are volatile or are experiencing massive market downturns.
