OpenNode and Blockstack to Offer Willing Blockchain Developers a Free Virtual Workshop in April

The two companies will offer the “How to monetize your decentralized application (dApp)” workshop on April 9th, 2019.

Blockchain developers across the world will be excited with the recent partnership between OpenNode and Blockstack to provide free virtual workshops for interested developers. As the world of blockchain expands, education will be a key factor in maintaining development in the industry hence the recent efforts by the two companies. In the past few years, the field has stretched out with short courses on blockchain learning spreading across universities in the world.

In an announcement from the official OpenNode Medium blog, the two companies will be working together to allow developers on Blockstack to monetize their dApps and distribute them in a market. The post further read,

“OpenNode is enabling Blockstack developers to monetize the apps they build so they can take their apps to market. Consider this a call to all developers wanting to build with the simplest, most powerful tools in the bitcoin development arena.”

Blockstack offers its users a decentralized, efficient, and easy platform to build their decentralized application. Unlike other computing protocols, Blockstack offers a guide, tutorials, documentation and an open source GitHub repository for novice developers too. Some of the most prominent dApps created on the platform include Graphite, a collaborative decentralized documents platform, Stealthy, a decentralized communication protocol, and Dappy wallet, a multicurrency decentralized wallet.

The development workshop will be facilitated by OpenNode’s CTO, João Almeida, and Lead Developer, Rui Gomes. The post further offered confirmation for a future event for developers and enthusiasts in the world of blockchain technology.
