Osmium Center is a high yield investment program (HYIP) scam that claims to make you rich quick with no work required. Find out how it works today in our review.
What is Osmium Center?
Osmium, found online at Osmium.center, is an investment scheme catered towards novice investors. The investment scheme is named after osmium, described as “the richest of metals”.
If you deposit $1,000 into the investment scheme today, then Osmium’s creators will pay you 15% ROI per day, every day, over a two week period (10 business days). You get a 150% return on your investment. Over the course of a year, you can earn millions through the Osmium scheme – even from a small investment today.
Osmium does not accept USD or any other fiat currency. Your deposit must be made in bitcoin.
Obviously, Osmium is a complete scam. When someone tells you that they’ll pay you 15% per day to borrow your money, it’s a 100% sign you’re being scammed. Osmium.center doesn’t exactly hide the fact that it’s a high yield investment program (HYIP) scam. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at how Osmium.center works.
How Does Osmium Work?
Osmium works like other high yield investment programs. The company has no products or services. The company doesn’t sell anything. Instead, the company is just built like a Ponzi scheme: investors deposit money into the company, then convince other people to deposit money. The returns of older investors are paid by the deposits of new investors. Eventually, the scheme collapses and everybody loses their money.
As mentioned above, Osmium.center doesn’t hide the fact that it’s a HYIP scam. The company doesn’t advertise any products or services. It isn’t licensed as an investment company. It’s just a straight-up investment scheme, where you deposit money today and hope to withdraw it before the scheme collapses.
As far as we can tell, Osmium has never paid anyone, nor has anyone been able to withdraw the 150% profits as advertised.
All money used in the Osmium platform must be deposited via bitcoin.
Legally, Osmium makes some effort to convince investors it’s a legitimate enterprise. The company vaguely mentions a mining operation in Kazakhstan listed under Osmium Ltd. That company trades in precious metals and isotopes. Apparently, that business is so profitable that they generate returns of 15% per day – which is unheard of in the world of business.
Who’s Behind Osmium?
Osmium.center launched on December 10, 2017. The company claims to have attracted over $35,000 in investments as of December 13.
The company refuses to disclose any information about who’s running the scheme – although that’s to be expected for HYIP scams. When these scams inevitably collapse, gullible investors will lose their money, and the people running the scam don’t want to get caught.
Osmium posts a fake corporation registration document from the UK. The company was incorporated in November 2017 as a private, limited company. Their registration document lists a fake address in London.
We’ve seen a number of HYIP scams use a similar approach, listing fake corporation registration documents on CompaniesHouse.gov.uk. This doesn’t mean Osmium is a real company, nor does it mean it’s licensed to sell investments (despite the fact that the website claims it’s a “legal company”).
Osmium Center Conclusion
Osmium Center is a bitcoin-based investment scam. The company promises to pay you 15% returns per day, every day. The company doesn’t sell any products or services, nor do they invest in any profitable opportunities. It’s just a blatant Ponzi scheme, where the returns of older investors are paid by the deposits of newer members.
Osmium.center will likely collapse within the next few days or weeks, leaving most investors without any money. We have no proof that anyone has been paid by Osmium so far.
