Over 60 Cryptos on New HTC Smartphone Exodus 1, Basic Attention Token (BAT) and DAI Included
Each passing day we tend to see cryptocurrency mass adoption in action. Slowly but steadily it is gaining momentum, and this time, it takes a massive step in the right direction.
Several devices are integrating bitcoin and cryptocurrency, but what about a ‘blockchain phone?' Yes, you got it right, a blockchain phone.
The Second Generation Smartphone
High Tech Computer (HTC) a Taiwan-based consumer electronics giant has rolled its second-generation phone Exodus 1 smartphone with in-wallet cryptocurrency trading for users.
But does the globe really need a blockchain phone?
It's clear that HTC this yes should be the answer, and hence the reason for the integration of Kyber Network's liquidity protocol into its Zion Vault wallet app.
HTC's native wallet on the Exodus 1 will enable users to directly swap between a plethora of significant tokens up to sixty in number which now also includes Basic Attention Token (BAT) and DAI.
Literally, the users will be able to swap directly between the ERC-20 standard cryptos in a manner that is decentralized without even leaving the wallet.
Smartphone Industry Getting Rooted
Nobody wants to be left behind from enjoying the promises of the high rising blockchain industry. The smartphone industry now looks to getting more rooted in blockchain as well. Earlier, another phone maker, Samsung, already developed a service for blockchain and cryptocurrency users. Precisely, they released their Galaxy S10 – a smartphone with a crypto wallet embedded.
For the Exodus 1, the addition will allow decentralized token swaps to be integrated into wallets as well as any application including vendors, websites, and dApps.
Moreover, the feature will allow easy usage, convenience as well as a seamless user experience. There's no third-party required by users to transfer the tokens to do the swap. Anyway, with these developments, it seems that we may not wait long until we see full mass adoption.
