Overstock’s Trading App tZero To Add Third Cryptocurrency Ravencoin (RVN) To Their Mobile Wallet

tZero has recently put out a press release that confirms that they are adding Ravencoin (RVN) on the tZero crypto app. This marks the third crypto to be added to the newly launched product after Bitcoin and Ethereum.

They are a majority-owned subsidiary of Overstock.com, Inc. centering on the development and commercialization of financial technology based on blockchain technologies. tZero’s crypto app is a secure and friendly mobile app that was launched less than a month ago. It runs on iOS and Android systems, enables users to manage cryptocurrencies in an all-around secure process and maintain direct custody of their cryptocurrencies.

Regarding the new addition, tZERO CEO Saum Noursalehi commented:

“In addition to being one of the fastest-growing cryptocurrencies, Ravencoin is philosophically aligned with tZERO in making it easy to digitize assets and make them freely tradable. Ravencoin allows for straightforward issuance and on-chain transfer of any digital asset, including security tokens, making support for RVN a natural fit for tZERO Crypto.”

Ravencoin is a digital peer-to-peer network, whose main and only task is to transfer assets from one user to another. The creators of the coin claim that it has a special technology, which is much more practical than that of its competitors. Although Ravencoin is a comparatively new cryptocurrency, it has already become popular with miners. It is due to the special algorithm of its mining as they aim to combat the monopoly of ASIC miners.

Even Overstock’s CEO, Patrick Byrne said that Ravencoin is one of the most exciting coins of 2019 and added:

“It’s exciting enough that the tZERO Crypto app will let one trade RVN. In addition, Ravencoin’s design makes it ideal to be woven into our grander vision of a blockchain tech stack for society.”
