Papa John’s Introduces New ‘Papa Dough’ Pizza Rewards Program “Crusto-Currency”


Now it will be possible for Papa John’s customers to earn reward points five times faster than before. Thes points will be then exchanged for anything available on the menu such as pizzas, sides, desserts and more. The information was unveiled by the company in a recent press release.

Clients will be receiving one point for every single dollar spent. 75 points are equal to $10 Papa Dough. There are no limits for the number of points that users can earn per transaction. At the same time, users will have the possibility to earn these points on the web, on the app or at the store.

The Papa Rewards member’s accounts have been moved to the new Papa Rewards program. The points from the old program were now multiplied by five. New members will be receiving a free 10’’ Cheesesticks with a $12 purchase through 1/27.

According to the press release, the new points will be called Crusto-Currency and seem to work as a virtual currency. However, there is no information on whether the company is using blockchain technology.

At the same time, the company informed that they are giving a chance to win the ultimate badge of Papa John’s iconic fandom: a gold pepperoncini. As per the report, there is only one and it is worth more than $10,000.
