PayGlobal May Soon Add XRP To Platform For Easy Conversion From Crypto To Fiat
PayGlobal is known for its services as an e-money agent in the UK, offering wallet services and even an ATM bank card. Now, the ATM service may soon be integrating XRP to the platform, adding it to the growing list of cryptocurrencies that the e-money platform supports.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has already approved PayGlobal to operate in this capacity, which will hopefully provide solutions to consumers with alternative payment preferences. These end-to-end solutions make it possible for users to be paid with cryptocurrencies, among other sources, and they are able to receive month through bank transfers, debit cards, Bitcoin, and Ethereum.
XRP has not been officially added, but it has received the most votes in a recent poll that PayGlobal established. It has been competing against EOS and Litecoin, taking over a whopping 88% of the 8,500 votes cast.
As the poll came to a close, PayGlobal tweeted that XRP would see priority with the product team. It is possible that the attention garnished from the community is enough to add the asset to PayGlobal’s list of available payment sources. This would make the process of going from crypto to fiat much easier in the EU, only requiring the existing bank card of the user.
XRP has been seeing a lot of positive attention over the last few months. A new initiative called Xpring from Ripple has been working to encourage the use of XRP in various applications, recently providing funding to Wietse Wind of TipBot for continued research in XRP-centered application. Even Nasdaq is considering an XRP liquid index, which would truly catapult the progress of the crypto industry.
The SIX Swiss Stock Exchange has already decided to list an XRP ETP with Amun AG, though other crypto products are being considered at this time as well.
