PCHAIN 1.0 Testnet Is Ahead Of Schedule To Power The PChain Platform
PCHAIN enthusiasts will be glad to hear the platform’s testnet is scheduled to go live shortly, far ahead of the planned launch date. The testnet is slated for 10/9/2018 with the mainnet planned for the first quarter of 2019.
PCHAIN is a native multi-blockchain system that brings the power of Ethereum Virtual Machine to enterprises to make enterprise level dApps possible.
Global Consensus Test
PCHAIN completed a global consensus test across Silicon Valley in America, Germany, Europe, Singapore and Asia on 6th July. The 30 inter-content PCHAIN nodes successfully reached consensus, thus meaning that they can guarantee efficient operation along with stable services.
Currently, the platform can handle POW classes of algorithms, while the native PDBFT algorithm can easily span across the continent. So far, PCHAIN has completed testing of multiple nodes, including those based on the new PDBFT consensus framework.
TPS Progress
The most recent update of PCHAIN’s testnet was a screenshot released on 13th August, with a result of 20KTPS. It is anticipated that the TPS results will be high in the final results, especially given that the testnet 1.0 will have over 1,000 super-nodes.
On 23rd August, the PCHAIN testnet had achieved 35K TPS along with significant cost reduction and utilization of nodes, memory and CPU processing power.
Recruitment Plan
With the aim of providing the crypto community with a dynamically balanced and stable consensus node service, PCHAIN launched its Dynamic Super Node Plan Eve. The plan is to quickly recruit the initial 10% of the dynamic super nodes all over the world. These participants will receive up to 10% of the profits as rewards, with more regulations being announced later on.
PCHAIN Three Innovation Features
- The first multichain with interoperability and EVM between native chains and the main blockchain.
- PDBFT consensus dramatically reduces the communication costs between nodes, thus achieving greater efficiency in operations across the distributed network.
- Dynamic supernodes that will introduce a better dynamic mechanism along with a rewarding system that will increase stability as the platform move towards testnet 2.0.
PCHAIN’s Major Features
Smart contract invocation for cross-chain tokens: PCHAIN’s network will support cross-blockchain calls. Through the tools provided by PCHAIN’s platform, smart contracts can be easily invoked through tokens used by other blockchains. Currently, the toolkit can support BCH and any ER20 tokens.
Sharding Consensus: PCHAIN also supports the continued development of blockchain networks and enhances operational efficiency through its Sharding frameworks at various levels as well as the supporting POS consensus framework.
Conclusion
With unique, innovative features like a custom PDFBT algorithm, smart data oracles, EVM support, and unified knowledge graphs, PCHAIN seeks to create a system where smart contracts can be applied on an enterprise scale.
