State Street’s head of Digital Product Development and Innovation, Pinar Emirdag ha confirmed that she will no longer be working for the firm. She worked in the product development team focused on products for next-generation market structures.
Pinar has been working on financial technologies and market-structures as a developer/operator of products and businesses. She had been included in entrepreneurial enterprises as an executive, founder, advisor and Board member: Clearmatics, Complymatic (regtech), FintechPark, R3, Hyperledger, Quantave, UK Digital Currency Association, and Mathmoneyfx (now Symbiont).

“We are talking about new types of assets which are going to drive liquidity and broader distribution and broader changes in financial changes. This is not about blockchain, this is something our clients have been looking into….And if money is going to change, you can think about valuations, trading, issuance, custody, the entire value chain of what happens with tokenization.”
State Street’s global chief technology architect Moiz Kohari also recently left the firm. He had helped develop State Street's broad DLT program since joining in 2016, having previously served at the London Stock Exchange as head of technological innovation.
