Poloniex Welcomes Cosmos, Only Exchange to Permit Users to Preview Atoms’ Balance

It has been recently revealed that Cosmos has been welcomed with open arms by Poloniex. In addition, users who took part in the Cosmos ICO will be able to look into their Atoms’ holdings and “claim” their balances.

It seems like the team at Poloniex has been attracted to Cosmos by its goal of inducing interaction between a “network of blockchains,” adding that the firm aims to resolve interoperability and scalability issues.

Because Atoms cannot be transferred during Cosmo’s initial launch, Poloniex has decided to help said users by being able to keep track of their holdings until Cosmos allows trading. Another reason why the Poloniex team made this possible, is to ensure that users have a safe and overall good experience with trading cryptos – free from frustration.

Here is an outline of instructions one must follow to actually preview one’s Atoms:

  1. Navigate through Poloniex’s “deposit and withdrawal screen”
  2. Then find Cosmos and click, “Preview Your Atoms Amount.”
  3. In doing so, enter your seed phrase (which is not stored or saved)

If one decides to redeem upon previewing their Atoms, again, it is only possible when the Cosmos Network permits

This is anticipated to occur over the course of a couple of weeks.
