The Korean bitcoin industry has been taking off in Korea, just as much as it has elsewhere. One of the latest bits of news that has come out of Korean’s crypto market is that Bithumb, a Korean bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchange is planning on partnering with a global payment system, known as Epay. The partnership with the payment processing system will allow the payment processer to provide service for Bithumb’s OTC offline business.
Additionally, Epay has reported that its United States-based branches and those in Europe will be officially starting in the second half of the year. Currently, the platform has over one million active users across a span of 200 countries.
Although the company has branches everywhere, its main headquarters is based in China. To date, the company has been working with various bitcoin exchange companies to promote the money transfer process to and from various accounts. In addition to its latest partnership with Bithumb, the company has been historically partnered with other platforms, which include OkCoin, Coinroom, Eobot, WEX, OTC789, and Coinnice. The partnership may make payment processing much easier for Korean bitcoin customers so that they can get the full support that they need.
