Post-Tron Hard Fork, Justin Sun Shares New BitTorrent (BTT) and TRX Plan to Add 1 Million New Users

Tron has recently launched a new hard fork with implementations to allow institutional and larger investors to play an important role in the market. The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Tron Foundation, Justin Sun, announced that they will bring 1 billion BitTorrent ecosystem users into Tron and BTT. Tron has acquired the BitTorrent network in 2018 and in 2019 they have launched the BitTorrent Token (BTT).

However, there have been some comments regarding the announcement made by Justin Sun. For example, Justinas Kairys, a blockchain developer and cybersecurity consultant, said that there is a mistake in the calculation. On the planet, there are 7 billion people, and YouTube and Facebook have 1.6 and 1.8 billion users respectively.

Another user has also raised some concerns about this number that Justin Sun shared. This user explained that there are 3 billion users on planet earth that do not have clean water or sanitation. It would be good for Tron to focus on helping 100 million users on BitTorrent to join the Tron ecosystem before.

Justin Sun has several times been criticized for making several announcements that help the TRX coin and BTT token grow in value.

At the time of writing this article, Tron is the 10th largest digital asset in the market. It is currently being traded around $0.022 and it has a market capitalization of $1.53 billion. Meanwhile, BTT is being traded around $0.000811 and it has a market capitalization of $802 million.
