PR Firm Wachsmans Expands Blockchain Strategy Advisory Division With High Profile Investment Bankers

Wachsmans, known for its quality media relations, crisis communications, and consultancy services, has recently announced that it will be creating a blockchain strategy and advisory division in which expert bankers, Michael Chang and Franklin Bi will be the leads. Already having established the title of the world’s most successful blockchain-based PR team, this effort can broaden their expertise levels.

Michael Chang, former SVP of Jefferies’ technology investment banking group, will now hold the position of managing director and will be given the responsibility to run the strategic advisory group. Franklin Bi, former VP and blockchain lead at JPMorgan’s blockchain director, will take on the role of the associate director and will assist Chang along the way.

The duo will supposedly be working together to provide a wide range blockchain-based services including the likes of consultancy to Wachsmans’ loyal clients, as well as to public and private companies worldwide.

Wachsmans’ has already grown within the blockchain industry, as its portfolio consists of over 90 blockchain-based companies, like Dash, CoinDesk, Polymath, Crypto Valley and ZenCash to name a few. Hence starting a separate division targeting the global market is merely a strategy for further expansion.

Hiring former bankers to start new blockchain-based start-ups is becoming a norm, as Coinbase, Blockchain, and Galaxy Digital are some of many firms that have successfully done so. This only shows that there’s remains a lot of interest revolving crypto investments.
