Rally focuses its energy on supporting a marketplace that caters to users, and its platform for content sharing is entirely based on Ethereum, due to the transparency and security the technology provides.
Recently, the company began a new Rally Airdrop for new users as an incentive to get involved by joining, referring the platform to friends, and engaging in the services. The airdrop has two billion Rally coins swinging in the balance, as they promote transparency and decentralization, putting users in charge in the value change.
The platform announced the airdrop on August 8th, which is when it was originally launched. When consumers exchange information, they are rewarded for sharing, commenting, and getting involved with other community members. The process is easy, since they are awarded tokens for each of these transactions, similar to the way that Steemit rewards users for being engaged with their posts. However, this airdrop seems to be more of a free-for-all, and users will not have to wait to start earning.
According to a statement from the founder of Rally, James Cashiola, he said,
“Centralized social platforms have created hundreds of billions of dollars of value through the contributions and actions of their users, unfortunately, users received none of this value. We are changing this; ninety percent of all Rally Coin is being allocated directly to marketplace participants, we want the broadest adoption possible with the most transparency possible.”
Unlike other airdrops and promotions, consumers do not have a limit on how much they can earn with their participation, which makes it all the more enticing. The whole purpose is to build up this new community so that they feel comfortable with the structure of earning tokens. However, this is not the only effort that Rally is making to bring in investors.
Rally has setup Community Royalties, which is a system of incentives for users. Along with the ability to get tokens for a referral, the participant will also get tokens as their referred friend or family member earns them. As they earn tokens, they can use them to:
- Redeem for prizes (goods or services) from advertisers on the platform.
- Earn more tokens for a better rank and awards
- Send to other users
- Promote their own content
- Sell for profit to advertisers
In turn, the advertisers get something out of the coin as well. As they purchase and accumulate them, the tokens can be used to:
- Reward users for their participation in the content
- Advertise their content on Rally’s website
- Buyback tokens
So far, no end date is posted, which is probably because the company wants all of the coins to be claimed before it stops. To get involved in the airdrop while it lasts, visit http://www.rallyairdrop.com.
