Red Rocket Solution: Bitcoin Mobile ATM Opportunity with POS Terminal Systems?
Red Rocket Solution claims to be “the ultimate crypto community platform of our time”. In addition to offering a crypto point of sale (POS) solution, the company promises to give users “lucrative rewards” and “financial freedom” in exchange for completing simple steps online.
Is Red Rocket Solution a scam? Or is this a legitimate startup that can help you get rich quick? Keep reading to find out everything you need to know about Red Rocket Solution.
What is Red Rocket Solution?
Red Rocket Solution offers mobile point of sale (POS) terminal systems that “combine traditional payment methods and crypto-payments into a unique complete package of software, hardware and services,” explains the official website.
The goal of the POS system is to make crypto payments easy and secure for both retailers and their customers. All the retailer needs is a power connection. Then, you can connect to the internet via WLAN or a SIM card.
Aside from that, there’s limited information about Red Rocket Solution available online. The website consists of just a single page of information about the Red Rocket Solution POS terminal. To learn more, you’ll need to register and pay a non-refundable registration fee of 99 EUR.
How Does Red Rocket Solution Work?
There seem to be two types of Red Rocket Solution POS terminals. One POS terminal can be seen in videos like this, where it functions like a smartphone. Another POS terminal does not seem to exist: it only appears in mock-up images.
In one mock-up image, a user is seen turning his phone towards the Red Rocket Solution POS terminal. The terminal sits on a desk and is about the size of a small toaster. It’s shiny and metallic.
In another mock-up image of the same device, the Red Rocket Solution POS terminal features a digital display where users can choose which currency they want to use. The terminal appears to accept BTC, ETH, LTC, XMR, DASH, and ZEC.
Aside from this basic information, we know very little about how this Red Rocket Solution POS terminal works. There’s no information about the technology behind the device. It seems unlikely that a mock-up of the device has even been created.
However, a second Red Rocket Solution POS terminal has been created. However, it almost seems too good to be true: the machine processes bitcoin payments immediately over a simple, smartphone-sized device.
In a video posted on the company’s official Facebook page, we see someone using this device at a trade show in Korea. The device accepts a mobile payment while sitting comfortably in the user’s hands. We don’t actually see the device working in the video, and we don’t see it accepting crypto payments.

In another video, we see a hotel check-in clerk accepting a crypto payment with Red Rocket Solution’s POS terminal. The clerk uses the device to present a QR code, and then the user completes a crypto payment using an ordinary crypto wallet. The device then prints a receipt. The entire transaction is completed directly over the two smartphones in seconds.
In these videos, we see users selecting their payment method from the front page of the app: they can choose to pay with a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or popular cryptocurrencies like BTC and ETH.
Both of these videos seem strange: bitcoin payments cannot be completed and confirmed within 2 seconds, yet the machine verifies the payment immediately and prints off the receipt. Even a traditional credit card payment takes longer – so it’s unclear what magic technology Red Rocket Solution is using to create faster bitcoin payments.
What is the Red Rocket Solution ‘Community’?
The Red Rocket Solution POS terminal appears to be just one part of the ‘solution’ behind Red Rocket Solution. The other part is “a global crypto community.”
This is where the Red Rocket Solution gets weird and vague. Here’s how the website answers the question, “What is Red Rocket Solution?”:
“Red Rocket Solution is a global crypto community platform that specialises in topics of the future – such as Crypto, Bitcoin and Blockchain. Red Rocket Solution merely is an added value for those who expect more from life than just running into work day after day and fighting for the success of others.”
Then, the website starts to explain itself in a way that seems similar to how multilevel marketing companies and pyramid schemes operate:
“For all those who (also) consider financial freedom, teamwork, travel, education, contact with new people and appreciation for what they do as a high good and finally want MORE from LIFE. That's why we are the crypto community platform of the future because we act more COMMON instead of lonely and see you as added value for all of us.”
Awkward English aside, it’s hard to understand what the Red Rocket Solution website is saying with any of this. It’s hard to even understand what Red Rocket Solution is selling.
- Can you achieve financial freedom by installing crypto POS machines at retailers?
- Does Red Rocket Solution want to genuinely make it easier for retailers to accept crypto and retail payments?
- Is the POS machine just a front for a membership-based pyramid scheme? Does the POS machine even work as advertised? Does it even exist?
Is Red Rocket Solution a Scam?
Based on everything we can find online, Red Rocket Solution appears to be a membership-based pyramid scheme masquerading as some type of crypto-based retail point of sale solution.
Aside from a few basic videos, we can find no evidence that a legitimate retail POS solution exists, and there are few details about any stage of Red Rocket Solution’s operations, technology, and more.
In fact, the entire purpose of the Red Rocket Solution page seems to be to convince you to pay 99 EUR to sign up, at which point you get a referral code you can use to convince other people to sign up. Money keeps getting passed up through the pyramid until the scheme inevitably collapses.
If Red Rocket Solution reveals more information about its POS technology or its crypto payment platform, then we might believe it’s more legitimate. For now, however, Red Rocket Solution appears to be too good to be true.
Who’s Behind Red Rocket Solution?
Red Rocket Solution reveals limited information about itself online. The company’s social media pages are written mostly in German. The company’s Facebook page, however, lists its headquarters as an address Hong Kong (in Chinachem Century Tower at 178 Gloucester Road in Wanchai, Hong Kong): https://www.facebook.com/pg/redrocketsolutionofficial/about/?ref=page_internal
We also know the company is led by CEO Albert Hinterdorfer, a 26-year old Austrian entrepreneur. You can view Albert’s Instagram page here: https://www.instagram.com/albert_hinterdorfer/?hl=en
Red Rocket Solution appears to be a multi-level marking company or pyramid scheme based in Austria or Hong Kong. The company claims to have a revolutionary point of sale (POS) solution that allows retailers to accept fiat and crypto payments. In reality, however, that technology may not even exist – yet the company is still charging 99 EUR as a ‘membership’ fee to learn more about the product.
In videos where we do see a retail POS machine in action, it seems too good to be true: the device processes bitcoin payments in less than two seconds, immediately printing off a receipt. The fact that we have no information about the technology behind the product makes us even more skeptical.
Based on everything we can find online, Red Rocket Solution seems to be focused on generating new members (and accepting their 99 EUR membership fee) instead of creating real products and services for retailers. However, if Red Rocket Solution unveils more information about its POS machine in the future, then we may change our stance.
