Renowned Timepiece Creator Frank Muller Presents “Encrypto,” the First Functional Bitcoin Watch
Frank Muller, well-known for making luxury watches branded with compound movements and original designs, recently launches “Encrypto” the first functional bitcoin watch in the world. The watch was produced in conjunction with Regal Assets, a prominent crypto-investment company with offices in the United States, Canada, the UK, and the UAE.
Encrypto was entirely manufactured with the crypto-space at heart. The dial of this watch was aesthetically created with a sports bitcoin logo and QR code of Satoshi's Genesis Block address. A laser-etched wallet address perfectly positions as a QR code in this elegant watch. Users can deposit BTC tokens and check the wallet balance with this laser-etched wallet address.
According to Regal Assets on Wednesday, there is a USB stick that safeguards the private key. The “deep cold storage” wallet uses “offline generated, non-deterministic TRNGs (True Random Numbers Generated) that cannot be hacked,” according to the statement by Regal Assets. Anyone with the watch can easily customize its dial too.
Notably, there are different brands of Encryto, as some come with metal and diamond dial and frame. This is a great invention, and it is the first world’s bitcoin-branded watch in the world today. Erol Baliyan, the regional director of Frank Muller, stated:
“We always aim to impact the customer at an emotional level and create a bond between the customer and the timepiece. As a brand, we are a trend maker with a solid track record and are not shy when it comes to adopting innovation. Bitcoin is the millennial gold is the perfect marriage between innovation and personal choice.”
All the bitcoin watches produced by Frank Muller comes as a two-piece “Deep Cold Storage” with its own distinct engraved public address on the dial and USB stick.
Regal Assets manufactured the “Deep Cold Storage,” and it is the first company licensed to trade cryptocurrency in its deep cold storage crypt, according to Bloomberg. Baliyan also added:
“Our watch is currently available online and at our Dubai Mall store. We accept payment by credit card, bank transfer, and also in Bitcoin. Buyers can also purchase the watch from our partner Regal Assets.”
It is necessary also to note that Encrypto makes use of an offline-generated, non-determinative TRNGs (True Random Numbers Generated) that cannot be hacked. The TRNG mode is one of the safest ways to store BTC tokens, and it is commonly used by holders. Users can speedily scan the QR code on the watch to check their wallet balance without relying on paper slips.
In appreciation, Tyler Gallagher, the CEO of Regal, said:
“I am honored to be part of the development of this process with Franck Muller. I believe this watch is revolutionary and is the perfect marriage between crypto and wearables, two booming industries. We are Regal Assets have always been big believers in cryptocurrencies and are always glad to partner up with established brands to come up with new and exciting crypto products.”
A max of 500 of these bitcoin timepieces is available for each gender. The cost of this bitcoin watch is anywhere between $10,000 to $60,000, according to the manufacturer’s website.
Frank Muller is planning to launch new models that feature Ethereum and other top-five altcoins.
