Report Says Microsoft Could Add Blockchain Tools To Its Power Platform

The technology giant Microsoft could be using blockchain tools in order for developers to use them on its PowerApps and Microsoft Flow. The information was released on June 10 by GeekWire. The official announcement is expected to be made by the company at the Microsoft Business Applications Summit next Monday.

Microsoft Works With Blockchain Technology

Microsoft could soon launch new Blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) tools on its PowerApps custom application builder and PowerBI business intelligence tool. There is expected to be a collection of tools that will make it easy to work through different applications.

According to the reports, the goal is to automate workflows, improve business productivity and also analyze data for insights. This is not the first time that Microsoft works with distributed ledger technology (DLT). The company has also released the Azure Blockchain Development Kit for the Ethereum blockchain. This tool kit was designed in order to help developers using Microsoft's blockchain-as-a-service platform, according to CoinTelegraph.

It is worth mentioning that Microsoft has also informed that it is building a decentralized platform on top of the Bitcoin blockchain. Moreover, ConsenSys announced that it has released a dApp Developer Job Kit and help developers enter the market working on the Ethereum blockchain.
