Revolut Crypto Banking and Trading Exchange App Surpasses 3 Million Registered Users
3 million – that is the number of registered users on Revolut. The news was revealed through a tweet posted Revolut’s Twitter timeline.
In 2015, many people in the financial services industry downplayed the Revolut project. However, the platform remained resilient and has since grown its client base tremendously.
The regular addition of new features on Revolut is the main reason behind the increase in the number of customers. Earlier this year, Revolut introduced the Metal debit card. With this card, users residing in European countries get 0.1% on all transactions, while non-Europeans are eligible for a 1% cashback. This applies to both crypto and fiat transactions.

Additionally, the Metal debit card offers multi-currency support, including the three main cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple. Besides, the card is compatible with the Revolut mobile application. The app enables users to trade an array of currency pairs at affordable fees.
As of now, Revolut is working on the establishment of a trading platform based on the Robinhood model. The project is funded by the $250 million raised by Revolut in 2017. The platform has already gone live in Europe and is expected to expand to North America and Australia soon.
