Ripple Drops $750,000 In Bread (BRD) Crypto Wallet to Increase XRP Adoption
Ripple is continuing its moves to turn XRP into one of the most popular cryptocurrencies. Now, the company has invested $750,000 USD in the mobile wallet provider BRD, which will list XRP. The investment was made via Xpring, Ripple’s venture capital arm.
This new strategic partnership will help Ripple by integrating XRP into the platform, which would help people to sell, send and buy XRP tokens anytime. The vice president of Xpring, Ethan Beard, has affirmed that BRD has one of the most respected wallets in the crypto world and that this would be important to finally take XRP to the mainstream.
The wallet is fully non-custodial and it allows the users to have more control over their funds. According to Beard, the BRD team has already helped its clients to trade over $6 billion USD worth of crypto assets and this makes it the ideal partner.
BRD’s CEO Adam Traidman was also very happy about the partnership. According to him, the team is incredibly excited to join forces. Ripple is considered a very strong wallet partner that could push the company forward and help them to achieve their goals.
Xpring has invested in several companies lately, for instance, Bitpay, which is set to add XRP to its payment options. Another investment was made on the Logos Network, a platform that focuses on scalability and on the web monetization platform called Coil.
Right now, you can use BRD on both Android and iOS devices. The service is available in around 170 countries and it has around 2.5 million users.
