The blockchain company Ripple has donated $1 million to Tipping Point in order to help fight poverty in the Bay Area. Tipping Point has partnered with Ripple with the goal of improving people’s life in San Francisco. The information was released by Ripple a few hours ago.

Tipping Point is working with Ripple to help those in need in the Bay Area. There are thousands of individuals that are too poor even to meet their basic needs and need help. This is why these two companies have partnered trying to find a momentaneous solution to this issue.
Ripple announced on Twitter that they are very excited to partner with Tipping point with the goal of fighting against poverty in the region.

The report released by the company reads as follows:
“Ripple employees are eager to support Tipping Point and its grantees through their personal giving. Ripple already matches its employees’ donations to any nonprofit on a dollar-for-dollar basis.”
Tipping Point is a company that works to reduce poverty using programs related to education, employment, housing and more. Since 2005, the firm gathered $150 million to support those in need. This is why it was possible to help out over 21,000 people out of poverty.
Ripple has also announced a new initiative called “Ripple for Good” that aims at support organizations and initiatives that will expand financial inclusion around the world. In this program, Ripple has already given more than $100 million in donations.
Ripple is one of the largest blockchain companies in the market. The firm provides financial services to banks and other institutions around the world. The main services provided by Ripple aim at reducing cross-border transaction times and costs.
The St. Jude Children’s Hospital has also received more than 21,000 XRP that was donated by the cryptocurrency community using Coil and Tip Bot. This shows that the crypto space is full of charitable initiatives.
