Three new additions to this list are Pontual, Interbank, and Vitesse.
Pontual, as per its website is number one payment processor to Brazil that currently processes 25% of the total US volume transmitted to Brazil.
With more than a decade of experience in the money remittance industry, the company is the largest payout distribution in Brazil.
Uk-based Vitesse is another name that allows its users to send and receive international bank payments with one quick and easy-to-use online service.
Founded in 1897, Interbank is a Peru-based medium sized bank whose worth is $4 billion in asset and has 230 branches.
Just last month, Ripple CEO Brad Garlingouse said,
“We’re in a very strong position, our business is growing strongly, we have a strong balance sheet, and I intend to press our advantage,”
after the partnership with the second largest money transfer service provider, MoneyGram.
At the time he said that active discussion on “multiple” potential investments and acquisitions have been underway.
