Ripple Users Can Now Enjoy Free Withdrawal Fees For XRP on Uphold Financial Services

Following this announcement by Uphold Inc., the XRP community was palpably thrilled.

According to their tweet, the company reported the removal of these fees after feedback from the community.

Uphold launched in November 2014 as a cloud-based financial services platform. It enables users to hold, convert, move, and transact cryptocurrencies with assured security and currently boasts 9 cryptocurrencies, 4 precious metals, and 23 fiat currencies. It’s also the first platform of its kind to publicly share reserve holding it.

According to their blog, there has been growing interest in XRP despite the bear market and even as interest in BTC, ETH, and LTC as fallen. It’s gone up to 39% of their holdings as of January since last March.
