Ripple (XRP) Gets Added Boost with Bittrex Listing Along With Ethereum Classic (ETC)
Bittrex, one of the notable crypto exchanges, has added USD pairs for Ripple’s XRP and Ethereum Classic (ETC). This latest move by the 36th largest crypto exchange in terms of trading volume makes it possible for both individual and corporate account holders to buy or sell the two cryptocurrencies using fiat money (USD).
XRP and Ethereum Classic now join the list of other cryptocurrencies already listed on the exchange such as BTC, USDT, TUSD, and ETH.

On a tweet dated August 21, Bittrex announced that they were adding XRP and ETC to their USD markets together with the previously listed fiat pairs for the mentioned digital assets. Details of the announcement are available from Bittrex Support Department.
“Today, we’re adding XRP and ETC to our USD (Fiat) markets in addition to previously announced USD pairs for Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), TrueUSD (TUSD) and Ethereum (ETH),”
the tweet highlighted.
Nearly two months ago, Bittrex announced their plans for including fiat trading for Bitcoin, Tether, and TrueUSD, which it initially made available for corporate clients in Washington, California, and New York. Between June and July this year, the crypto exchange added Ethereum to its individual clients.
More fiat trading pairs
The latest is the addition of fiat trading pairs for XRP and ETC, which will be available to individual account holders. Both Ethereum Classic and Ripple’s XRP are two popular digital assets in the market. Both XRP and ETC ranked 3rd and 12th respectively, according to AltDex 100 Index. Bittrex now follows immediately in the footsteps of Coinbase, which recently added a fiat trading pair for ETC.
In the XRP circles, the question of fiat trading pairs has been on the table in the recent months, trying to convince Binance to include USD-XRP option to its platform. With the new trading pairs, more investors are bound to join Bittrex, including individuals and corporate clients outside of the USA.
