Ripple’s David Schwartz, Former Ripple Employee Exchange Jabs Before Participating in Reddit AMA
The crypto market is on bull run mode and the price of many assets are going up right now. Bitcoin is certainly one of the biggest winners right now, but there is no reason to believe that other prominent tokens such as Ethereum and Ripple’s XRP.
At the moment, a lot of people are speculating whether the prices of Ripple will finally break the 50 cents resistance level and start to grow more.
It is in this context that the CEO and founder of Coil, Stefan Thomas, has started his own Ask Me Anything (AMA) section on Reddit, which you can check out here. Thomas was the former Chief Technology Officer of Ripple, a function that it is now occupied by David Schwartz, talked about his links with XRP and his project Coil.
I’m Stefan Thomas and I introduced millions of people to Bitcoin, was in charge of the technology for the third largest cryptocurrency, and hate blockchain. AMA! from IAmA
Before the AMA, the current CTO of the company, Schwartz, has exchanged some jabs with Thomas. He suggested that people asked him about how lost thousands of Bitcoin and about
“aliens with extraordinary abilities”.
However, after he attacked the other man, some users also started some attacks at him as well. They asked him how it was to work for the National Security Agency (NSA), something that Schwartz did some time ago.
Schwartz affirmed that the NSA was “fantastic group of patriots”, however, he was saddened by the Patriot Act when it was started. He affirmed that national intelligence has to do its job well, too, or it can have disastrous consequences. When he made his own AMA, Schwartz also faced several questions.
The AMA Was Not A Big Hit
It is fair to say that Stefan Thomas’ AMA was not a very big hit at all. Around six hours after it started, it only had 72 updates (at the time of this report), which is a very low number.
One of the most upvoted comments, which had 1,000 upvotes, was affirming that Stefan Thomas actually used the AMA as a way to promote his own token. Despite not being too popular, the AMA actually had a lot of questions asked.
At the time of this report, Ripple’s XRP was still unable to overcome the 50 cents resistance level and it was trading at around $0,4155 USD, down almost 7% day. This is a not a great day for Ripple.
