Ripple’s Interledger System and Coil Will be Working with Puma Browser for Privacy Benefits

After very good weeks for partnerships between Ripple and other companies, Coil announced that they have integrated the Interledger on Puma Browser’s system. On Twitter, the company announced that Puma Browser was the iOS supported browser that integrated with Coil and Interledger.

Puma Browser Embraces Blockchain Technology

In a recent tweet, Coil explained the new agreement with Puma Browser and the Interledter protocol. Puma Technologies is a company behind the Puma Browser that aims at prioritizing privacy on its platform.

The browser allows users to pay for services and content without having to receive tracking issues. The Interledger protocol facilitates the integration of crypto-based payment systems as well. This is why XRP and Ethereum (ETH) could be working seamlessly on this platform.

Meanwhile, Coil, which has been funded by Stefan Thomas, a former Ripple executive, aims at helping web content creators to monetize their content in an efficient way.

With this implementation, the Interledger protocol will act as a gateway into other virtual-currency based trading and payment platforms. If the browser is able to expand around the world, it might be possible for cryptocurrencies to reach mass adoption faster. There have been several blockchain implementations that aimed at improving mass adoption of virtual currencies but they couldn’t grow enough or reach a large number of users.

Another web browser that is also expanding is Brave. By using the Basic Attention Token (BAT) cryptocurrency it is possible for the platform to provide funding to websites and also to protect users’ privacy.
