Rise of Tron DApps Leads to Over $100 Average in Daily Spending from TRX Users
Decentralized applications or dApps are a fairly new concept in the world. Both Tron and Ethereum have worked to develop a beneficial platform where these kinds of programs can both survive and thrive. The increase in the production and use of Tron has been so substantial that recent reports show a total of $102.40 spent daily by users. This is more than non-dApp games tend to have spent on them as well.
With the release of the Tron Dapp Weekly report, ten new dApps were added to the ecosystem between February 23rd and March 1st, adding up to a growth of 5.9%. Smart contracts rose to a count of 448, which shared the same amount of growth over the week. The report provided the image below to break down the changes that have occurred.
Additional data provided includes information about the user base, which has been fluctuating between 40,000 and 50,000 users. Even though this information is a positive difference from the typical usage, the combination with the increased spending shows that the likelihood of spending is higher with dApps.
The developers of these programs believe that these numbers are encouraging to their new focus on game-lay and strategy, of which they are trying to make breakthroughs. Pokerbots is one of the games that they have developed with greater complexity, and it was only released that week.
DApps will easily have a major role to place in the future of decentralization. However, considering that the scales tend to go back and forth between which of the main platforms has the most progress, it is still to be seen which one will end up prevailing in the top spot through the years.
