Roger Ver Continues to Throw Shade Towards Bitcoin Core as BCH-Backer Isn’t Happy with BTC
Roger Ver aka Bitcoin Jesus and the head of Bitcoin.com does not miss any chance to take a pot shot at the pioneer's Bitcoin. It has become a growing trend in the decentralized community especially the altcoin community to make fun of Bitcoin for its scalability issues, the high transaction fee and various on chain complications.
Now that cryptocurrency space has established a fair amount of confidence among the community, most of the altcoins are now pushing for mainstream adoption. Roger Ver led Bitcoin Cash has been able to push itself as one of the top performers this year on all aspects, be it the token price, the development work or the adoption of the token on various platforms offering a range of services.
During a recent podcast, Ver touched upon various aspects of BCH as the future of digital currencies and why it is better than the current BTC. The BCH bull said,
“The key to being an investor is to invest in a good product before anyone else and that is what I did with Bitcoin all those years back. I got into Bitcoin because I knew that it would be useful in the future while at the same time bringing financial freedom to the entire world. Those are the same features that Bitcoin Cash has right now and many are saying that BCash is a scam and all that, to them I say that name calling is not an argument.”
Roger Ver also talked about the various hinderance faced due to government's clamp on the use of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. He stated that regulatory bodies holding a monopoly over people's choice on how to use their money are surely a hindrance to the progress of digital currencies.
Ver agreed that Bitcoin became the poster boy for separating the control of the state over people's money. When enquired about how one can stop Bitcoin and its progress, Ver replied that in order to make Bitcoin go out of use one just has to make it more complex to use as well as very expensive. He explained,
“Becoming too expensive or too complicated to use is what has happened to the current version of BTC and is something that BCash is trying to move far from. I want to say kudos to the people who hijacked the original BTC product and the thing is a vast majority of the people do not realize what actually happened.”
Ver has been lately taking a lot of pot shots at the pioneer and the digital currency out which BCH has been forked from. Ver was recently in the news for his comments on Bitcoin, where he said Bitcoin camp is full of censorship and trolling.
