Roger Ver Tells Elon Musk BCH is the Real Bitcoin as Mainstream Adoption Efforts Continue to Rise

Bitcoin’s price has been stagnant recently and some are even going so far as to call it a market slump. Even with the sump, bitcoin has still been rolling out updates that are geared toward positioning bitcoin cash at the forefront of mass adoption.

Bitcoin cash recently appeared in the news when Trendo Pien, a developer, launched Speedn. This is a smart contracting language that can be integrated into BCH blockchain, even though it is generally known to have an adversity to such contracts. Speedn, though, is hoping to close the gap.

Roger Ver, CEO, discussed updates and those who have already adopted Bitcoin Cash. He also discussed Key Motors, a car dealership in Australia that is now accepting Bitcoin Cash as payment. This is not the first dealership to do so – others have also started to adopt BCH. Ver added:

“Huge shout out to Key Motors. I think this is just part of the process of the east coast of Australia blowing up with Bitcoin Cash [BCH].”

He also opined concerning Elon Musk, stating “Musk is a pretty smart guy. I know Musk is into cryptocurrencies and I hope he knows that Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin.”

Ver also provided examples of various services that have been built on Bitcoin, most notably exchanges. He mentioned, “We don’t know the time, or the hour, or the place but the next time the BTC network becomes completely full, it guarantees that all o the users of your platform are gonna have a horrible user experience.” Moreover, Ver discussed the Watchtower code and mentioned that is a “trusted third party” that can oversee coins on the Lightning Network.
