Ryan X Charles Talks At The CoinGeek Week Conference About Bitcoin Cash And Bitcoin SV Tokens
The Chief Executive Officer of Money Button, Ryan X Charles, was present at the CoinGeek Week Conference talking about Bitcoin Cash split, mining and scaling. He started by talking about the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) chain split explaining that they are still in the recovery phase.
Back on November 15, Bitcoin Cash experienced a network upgrade in which two sides were discussing how to scale the network and improve it. Bitcoin SV was supported by Craig Wright and Calvin Ayre while Bitcoin ABC received support from Roger Ver and Jihan Wu.
Ryan X Charles mentioned that Bitcoin is money and it can solve many different issues and problems. For him, Bitcoin is sound money that is able to scale to the entire world if teams work in order to make this happen.
He then talked about the importance of miners in the cryptocurrency world explaining that they mine and validate the blocks, confirming transactions. He mentioned that miners are capable of doing a better job hashing and not validating transactions. This is why he suggested the addition of validators.
Charles said that it could be possible to have a smart contract between miners and validators, something that would allow them to do only the thing that they are the best at.
He has also mentioned the Bitcoin SV split and how to scale it. Charles said that it is possible to scale the network doing on-chain giant blocks. At the same time, he has also commented about Unwriter, a Medium writer that supported Bitcoin SV against Bitcoin Cash ABC.
On the matter, he said:
“I’ll just say that I completely agree with Unwriter… it’s very irritating from our point of view that we are just completely dismissed by the ABC side that you guys just think that we’re just diluted, that we’ve been won over by a con man. This is not correct; we’re not diluted, you don’t even listen to the argument so you should take Unwriter seriously.”
Charles asked the Bitcoin ABC community to listen to Bitcoin SV supporters and followers in order to understand more about it. Additionally, he requested ABC’s followers to not let their ‘hatred’ towards Craig Wright affect discussions around the future of the space.
