Seed Equity Capital Changes Name to CoinZoom Securities, Make Push Into Crypto Investment Market
Seed Equity Capital, a leading investment company, has confirmed that it will now be known as CoinZoom Securities. This move is one of the strategies adopted by the company to become one of the key players in the crypto assets investments industry.
Todd Crosland, the CEO of CoinZoom Securities, said that the new name allows the company to focus their business goals on transforming the way startups raise capital. This, in turn, increases accessibility, reduces the cost and improves regulatory compliance especially in the issuance of digital securities tokens.
CoinZoom Securities was established in 2013 to offer a platform for businesses to raise capital and invest. The majority of their clients operate in the technology sector and have so far managed to raise a capital worth millions of dollars. However, most of the fundraisers have conducted using fiat currencies, meaning that CoinZoom operational model resembles a traditional crowdfunding initiative.
Shifting From Fiat To Digital Securities
The recent rebranding is an indicator that the company intends to ditch fiat currencies in favor of digital assets as the primary means of raising capital. In this regard, Crosland mentioned that businesses are now preferring digital securities over traditional offerings because of their numerous advantages. He further added that the issuance of digital securities is likely to appeal to venture funds, private companies and many more.
Many experts believe that CoinZoom Securities has the upper hand over competing firms which are mostly new to the market. This is because the company is regulated as a broker-dealer by the SEC. This means that CoinZoom can launch its services immediately, whereas the competitors must first deal with the lengthy process of getting licenses from the regulatory authorities.
