Sirin Labs Showcases FINNEY Blockchain Smart Phone Final Design Features
The Sirin Labs Has Just Unveiled the FINNEY Smartphone
The Sirin Labs this year has rolled out some very impressive announcements, all this has been centered around their upcoming project, the FINNEY smartphone. The goal for the company is to ensure they have made crypto coins more accessible; this is by providing a secure cold storage wallet and also have a custom Token Conversion Service, referred to as TCS.
As a user of the smartphone, you will be able to store your crypto coins securely and be in a position to pay for your everyday goods and also services with your phone, just as they would swipe your credit card when making a payment. In May is when the technical specs of the phone were released, and the final design of the phone unveiled in mid of July.
The Basics of the Phone
The smartphone has been designed with a 6-inch central display that has been powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset. It comes with a storage of about 128GB and a 6GB RAM. The device has been designed to run on Android 8.1 Oreo, and this is not all as the team has a custom Sirin OS layer that is able to handle the blockchain technology features and also dapps.
The cold storage has been built into the smartphone and has been made easily accessible by quickly moving a switch that has been built into the phone. The team has also ensured that the device comes with multiple security precautions, this is to make sure it prevents any unauthorized access to your wallet. Thus, this has been made to be more secure than any average storage solution that you might find in the market.
Did we forget to mention that the wallet in the phone is impossible to remove, so this means if an unfortunate incident like your phone been stolen happens, your crypto coins cannot be accessed. So your funds are safe.
It Has Been Designed With a Safe Screen and a Slider
The huge feature reveal for this particular phone is the unique slide-out display that the Sirin Labs have dubbed to be safe screen. The Safe screen has been designed to operate on a dedicated firmware where the Sirin OS does not have this access. So with this in place, it has created a figurative bubble that has been put around the transactions you carry out.
Accordingly, it allows the users to verify the crypto payments independently adequately. Even though your phone gets compromised by malware, the Safe Screen has been designed to still allow accurate transactions to take place. The team indeed wanted to offer the various users a secure display to prevent the incident of transaction tampering, but ensuring that this was adequately added to your smartphone was a little challenging.
The reduction of the phone screen size or even the elongating of the phone design did not look like a workable solution and having the slider at the bottom of the phone was not feeling natural. Thus, the Sirin labs had to settle with a top oriented slider that will be able to hold the Safe Screen in place. This has not only added functionality on the phone but also gives it a unique look compared to what you will get in the market.
