Slipstream Advantage Logistics Joins DAV Network for Blockchain Coin Payments
Slipstream Advantage Goes Digital, Picks Dav Coin As Its Preferred Payment Solution
Top logistics solutions brand, Slipstream Advantage is transitioning from analogue, manual processes into digital solutions to improve services and increase productivity as it announced that it has joined the DAV Network, and would adopt DAv Coin as its prefered payment solution.
The DAV Network, is a decentralised, peer-to-peer, global transportation network, enabling vehicles to discover, communicate, and transact with one another using blockchain.
By joining the network and conducting payments with the DAV coin, Slipstream is now able to optimise and expand its transport services.
Slipstream provides logistics solutions including sea freight, air freight and land transport. It also integrates into third party provides like the Australia Post and Star Track and Gardner Logistics. For decades, it has evolved by implementing new technologies, tools and systems.
What The Slipstream And Dav Network Partnership Means
Slipstream says joining the DAV Network allows it to remove the unnecessary layers in the surrounding transport ecosystem, such as agents and brokers. Through disintermediation, its services will be cheaper, faster, and more efficient. These cost savings will be passed onto customers and other transport companies.
The company is also looking to enhance the traditional shopping experience by connecting directly to a wider range of transport providers that would otherwise not be available.
The move also gives Slipstream a stake in the DAV Network and enables it to share in the Dav Network growth, said Wade McDonough, Managing Director of Slipstream. On its part, DAV Network said the work it is doing with Slipstream will be a clear demonstration of how and why this tokenised ecosystem will succeed.
The DAV Network is supported by the Dav Foundation whose mission is to promote and support research and development of the DAV Network built on an open-source protocol. The organization said it is guided by principles of transparency and openness and invites the DAV community to help build a new way of transporting goods and people around the globe using blockchain technology.
