The partnership between the two companies has come at a critical and exciting time for the team at Stratis because all the services that make up the Stratis Platform, i.e., the enterprise-focused Stratis DLT, the side chains, and the smart contracts are all set to be released in the coming months.
The Azure Marketplace often provides service providers and application developers with access to more than one hundred and twenty thousand enterprise customers and eight hundred thousand ecosystem partners that are located in approximately one hundred and ninety countries.
Through the partnership, Microsoft is able to actively guide clients to their partners. The partners are in turn provided with resources which makes it possible for them to increase their product’s exposure on Microsoft’s Go-To market services. The marketplace has more than one million active users and is able to generate more than one hundred thousand leads to its certified partners each month.
Currently, the Stratis Group is the only blockchain company that has its own cryptocurrency that has been able to partner with Microsoft in this manner. It is the main reason why Stratis is interested in this partnership as it will place it in a unique position to better utilize the resources that are currently available within the Microsoft software environment.
Statement From The CEO On This Partnership
Chris Trew, the Founder and CEO of the Stratis Group stated that they are also thinking of this step as the first in many that will enable them to continue enhancing their relationship with Microsoft. With time, they hope that they will be able to achieve Gold Partner certification.
He went on to state that the partnership had made him very excited, and was indeed looking forward to cooperating with Microsoft through its Go-To-Market team to be able to further leverage the power of the Azure technology in enhancing the Stratis Platform.
According to him, this Silver Partnership certification is indicative of the strong relationship that the group currently has with the .Net Framework. The framework has been developed by Microsoft. He goes on to note that Stratis is currently the only cryptocurrency platform with full nodes that have been created from the ground all the way to the top using C#.
This means that all the applications that the Stratis Group have built using their own unique Stratis Platform can be deemed to be a part of the .Net ecosystem. The partnership is, therefore, a natural next step for the Stratis platform.
