Swiss Mortgage Bank Partners With TokenSuisse To Upgrade Crypto Services
The Swiss mortgage bank Hypothekarbank Lenzbug (also known as “Hypi”) has recently started the token asset manager TokenSuisse. This partnership will be focused on expanding the services of the bank for blockchain crypto companies as well.
Hypi announced the partnership via social media and this Monday, March 25. The CEO of the bank, Marianne Wildi, is moving the bank in a notable direction since most banks are avoiding crypto companies so far, which will help Hypi to get this niche for itself.
According to the bank, the main goal of the partnership is to new find new products for crypto and blockchain companies and to further develop the ones which are already being planned.
The bank is following the decentralization route, too, as in January the company signed an agreement with Seba, a crypto bank based in Switzerland, in order to use Seba’s decentralized software in Finstar, the core traditional banking system which is currently being used by Hypothekarbank Lenzbug.
This partnership with Seba can be also important for the bank for another reason. At the moment, Seba is expecting to receive a banking and securities license from the national regulator. After the bank finally receives the backing from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, which should happen still in the first half of 2019, it will be able to start crypto trading with other banks.
Because of this, another door to the crypto world will be wide open for Hypi after their current partner receives this license.
TokenSuisse AG is a Swiss company based in Zug. The company is an expert in offering advisory services about cryptocurrency and blockchain investment.
Also, it has a partnership with TokenPay and it is said to be the first company in the whole world to launch a global multi-crypto asset certificate, according to local news sources. The company has also launched its own privacy coin certificate last month.
