Synancor Enhances Collaboration On The Blockchain Through The Launch Of Zimbra X Beta At Blockchain Live 2018
Synancor’s Zimbra X has officially launched its Beta version powered by the EOSIO blockchain platform. The announcement was made at Blockchain Live 2018. The global open source platform for collaboration will leverage smart contracts and the EOS token to strengthen itself as a major platform for collaboration on the blockchain for businesses. This is the first platform to offer email and collaboration for distributed applications on the based on the EOSIO blockchain. Zimbra X will be able to track an identity on the blockchain to enable organizations leverage the technology to enhance network efficiency while maintaining superior security for the user accounts.
Synancor’s chief executive pointed this as a major in their use of blockchain. The firm began their blockchain journey having the first enterprise dApp developed and running on EOSIO. It has since gone further to take advantage of the blockchain’s smart contract capabilities, the EOS tokens and verified identity API’s to bring more functionality to the ecosystem. He was excited to present the new development at event and went ahead to invite the community to participate in the just released Beta. Users with EOS accounts can sign up and test the business class email and collaboration tools available through the Zimbra X platform.
