Talla Botchain – Trust, Audit & Compliance Blockchain Ledger?
Talla’s Botchain provides trust, audit, and compliance for intelligent autonomous agents through a blockchain. Find out what that means today in our Talla review.
What is Talla?
Talla’s Botchain is launching in October 2017 to “ensure certainty in A.I. autonomous agents for business.” It’s a blockchain-based platform designed to solve crucial problems in the way we manage and supervise AI systems.
The blockchain is being made by Talla, a company that produces B2B A.I. software. Talla is launching the platform on a private testnet in October 2017, with a token sale to take place around that team (specific dates have not yet been announced).
Talla calls its platform the Botchain. The goal of the Botchain is to help foster mass adoption of AI products in business with intelligent agent auditing, compliance regulations, and communication standards on a blockchain.
Overall, Talla wants to solve a crucial problem in the world of artificial intelligence: as AI-based systems become more prevalent, both users and applications will require a network where identities and transactions are verifiable and auditable. Blockchain technology – specifically, Talla’s Botchain – is the missing piece that enables this functionality.
“Imagine a world in which hundreds of thousands of transactions occur each minute. Some are human-to-bot; others are bot-to-bot, and some even involve a series of autonomous bots. Each transaction requires an immutable digital certificate to record what happened and why. Bots in the enterprise will only grow when there are ways for them to establish trust with humans and with other bots,” explains Talla CEO Rob May.
What Problems Does Talla Seek to Solve?
Traditional APIs were created for simple data exchanges. They’re ill-equipped to handle AI-driven autonomous systems. However, these systems are rapidly emerging and being integrated into society. Some are even calling it the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” as more and more work is being done by artificial intelligence systems.
These artificial intelligence systems reduce labor costs, but they also require new standards for safety and security. Today’s APIs can’t provide the rock-solid compliance we need, so Talla created a system that can.
How Does the Botchain Work?
Talla’s technology is called the Botchain. The Botchain provides critical systems for any companies that use AI powered products, as well as AI product developers.
Using the Botchain, companies can access an auditable trail of interactions and decisions made by each AI system. This is accomplished by hashing information about each agent task to the blockchain, which means it cannot be changed.
Each bot’s identity is verified with certainty to prevent bot spoofing and spamming.
Furthermore, Talla has integrated smart contracts into the platform. Here’s how the company explains it:
“Botchain also expands the ability of smart contracts to support artificial intelligence models, so that probabilistic outcomes can be combined into contracts and workflows.”
Some of Talla’s key features include all of the following:
- An auditable, decentralized trail for clarity and transparency on autonomous decisions reached by any AI system or bot
- Transparency that allows for efficient re-training of machine learning models
- Standardized protocols for autonomous systems that allows them to tap into one another and communicate, which means multiple layers of a network can work in tandem
- An open marketplace of skills where bot developers can interact and add to their product offerings
The Talla Token Sale
The Botchain revolves around the use of a cryptocurrency. Users will be able to participate in the Botchain using that cryptocurrency.
Dates for the Talla token sale have not yet been announced. However, more details should be announced in October 2017, when the botchain is launched on a private testnet.
Who’s Behind Talla?
Talla is an existing company that’s creating the Botchain, a blockchain-based auditing system for bots and AI platforms.
The company was founded in 2015. They have offices in Boston and Palo Alto. In addition to developing the Botchain, Talla offers AI systems to other businesses, including an intelligent service assistant for HR and IT teams.
Talla is an existing company that provides B2B AI systems. The company is creating the Botchain in order to address crucial problems within the industry – like the shortcomings of APIs at providing verifiable communications between bots. Thanks to Talla’s Botchain, companies can access a verifiable, auditable trail of a bot’s activity, then use that data for future machine learning tasks.
The Botchain is actively in development. A launch is expected to take place in October, as Talla is launching the Botchain on a private testnet. A token sale should take place sometime later this year. Visit Talla.com for more information about the Botchain and how it works.
