The Main Question is WHEN is Coinbase Going to List XRP, not IF Ripple Will See Exchange Inclusion
A few days ago, Coinbase, one of the largest and most popular crypto platforms in the market announced that it is considering the addition of 31 new digital assets to its platform.
During the last months, Coinbase added support to many different virtual currencies including Ethereum Classic (ETC), ZCash (ZEC), Basic Attention Token (BAT), 0x (ZRX) and USD Coin (USDC).
However, there are several users in the market, including enthusiasts and investors that were asking Coinbase when it was going to list the second largest virtual currency XRP. At the same time, the community answered to Coinbase announcement saying that some of the virtual currencies that it wants to offer are not established projects and need time to prove themselves as viable virtual currencies.
Larry Cermak, the writer at The Block, said that listing Civic and Mana is a total joke because they are zombie projects. Additionally, he mentioned that Coinbase is losing all its credibility.
Listing Civic and Mana is a total joke. Coinbase is losing all the credibility today. Both are literally zombie projects. I’m honestly shocked

The list released by Coinbase included XRP as a new asset that the company is analysing to include to the platform. In the past, several rumours spread on the internet about the possibility of Coinbase listing XRP as a new asset on its platform. At that time, XRP price behaved very positively to these ‘fake news.’
During the last few months, XRP has been affected by the bear trend experienced by most of the virtual currencies in the market. However, it was able to surpass Ethereum (ETH) as the second largest virtual currency in the market.
At the same time, CoinMarketCap does not show the real market capitalization of XRP, something that the crypto community complained about. Taking into account Yahoo Finance, XRP has a market capitalization of $31 billion compared to CoinMarketCap that shows around $13 billion.
CoinMarketCap does not include the whole XRP supply since there are close to 60 billion of XRP held in escrow.
The main question that we now have is when will Coinbase list XRP. Although Coinbase mentioned that they might not add all the assets mentioned on the list, there are high possibilities of it to happen.
XRP would clearly react very positively to this news and become closer to Bitcoin in terms of market cap in both CoinMarketCap and Yahoo Finance. The XRP community is now very excited about this real possibility and what it can trigger in the market.
