Ripple And XRP
The Ripple community has confronted Bob Way, a self-proclaimed Ripple insider, telling home to confirm that he indeed worked for the company in the past. Bob claims that during his time at Ripple, he developed the concept of prevalidation which allows bank and other financial institutions to choose whether they want to get involved in a remittance transaction before it is initiated.
According to Bob’s LinkedIn profile, he served as a “Former Graybeard” at Ripple between 2013 and 2018. Bob attracted the attention of the Ripple community when claimed on the XRPChat forum that he has information concerning the origin and future plans of XRP. It was at this time that forum members asked him to prove his identity. In response, he shared a history of transactions on the XRP blockchain ledger as well as a picture of himself posing with Ripple’s merchandise.
Regarding the future of XRP, Bob said that he expects its demand to increase because more banks are adopting Ripple’s xRapid solution as their preferred solution for making cross-border payments.
Vitalik Buterin, the founder of the Ethereum network, recently had an interview with the Into the Ether podcast. There, he talked about his leadership role, governance and funding status of Ethereum network. Buterin also mentioned the progress made towards launching Ethereum 2.0, which is expected to improve the scalability of the blockchain network.
VanEck, an exchange-traded Fund based in New York, has published a report explaining why Bitcoin and other digital currencies will improve in the future. The report, aimed at the company's clients, was drafted by Gabor Gurbacs, the director of digital assets.
According to Gurbacs, Bitcoin has a promising future because of the following reasons.
