The XRP Army Goes to Bat in Expressing Sincere Interest in Skype Adopting Ripple Micropayments

The community that is surrounding the XRP has once again advised Skype, which is the Microsoft messaging platform, to try and integrate the crypto-coin into their network to be used among the means of payment while on the platform. The Ripple enthusiasts are continually requesting this; thus, it has led the Skype team to raise the matter with the other units within the company.

The XRP has been suggested for use on Skype

With the use of crypto coins like the Ripple as the mainstream, then it will need to ensure that it finds massive adoption. The good news is, the Ripple has been slowly building and has been able to gain constant support from the army behind the XRP, a clear road map together with dedicated executives the company has been able to inch close to their main objective.

At the moment their focus is on Microsoft, specifically the Skype platform, the XRP can be used for the micropayments that are made on the platform with the use of the XRPTipBot, this can be done either on Gmail, Tweeter, Reddit and Discord.

As a result, the Ripple enthusiasts want the coin to be incorporated into the Skype platform this is both on the confrere calls and the VoIP system. ParisByDavid went ahead to comment on the issue; he soldiers the calls on Skype to integrate the Ripple to be used in the micropayments, he also reminds Skype that in this growing age of micropayments their clients exact their full support for this need.

And from his comments he has been considered to be right, it is because in this era it is clear that the internet of value is here, and the main idea being to ensure that they integrate the micropayments easily on the messaging platform, as the concept is not far reached as one could think.

He goes on to states that customers should be allowed to buy credit with the use of the Ripple token, but this is not all as they need to also be able to send out the micropayments with the use of the XRP on the Skype Chat service.

At the moment, there seems to be positive responses to the suggestions as ParisByDavid received a response from the Skype Team.

“Ladies and Gentlemen! Petr from @Skype finally replied with a promising message. He also asked us to support this idea by voting and sharing your thoughts. If you didn’t vote, please do it now. A small contribution can change the future.”

From the above comment, it is clear that the team behind the Skype platform likes the idea that has been tabled. But it is important to note that Skype is a very small fraction within the Microsoft company, so the integration of the crypto would need to be accepted through the whole company, and this might take a little longer if they decide to go on this route.

The response has brought hope within the community

With the reply, it has brought some level of excitement within the community, with some of the individuals already thinking of new ways for the global adoption of the coin to take place. If this gets accepted in Microsoft, then this coin is going to go places, and the goal of global adoption is not farfetched. The thought of having the Ripple and Microsoft company together is more than enough to encourage the community surrounding the coin to have this movement voted; this is according to Calvin Schultz.

Skype is playing a massive role in the OTC crypto market

It might be unintended, but when we carefully look at Skype, it is already playing a significant role when we talk about the growth of the OTC market. It was reported last year that most of the companies within the market use skype to purchase, negotiate, sell and lend the crypto coins.

The platform is mostly used to cater to the big players in the market; these are the large miners of BTC, the wealthy investors, the payment processing firms, hedge funds and many more. They use Skype because these traders were looking for a platform that has become global and is free; thus it has served as the perfect tool for trade.
