Theta Network’s SLIVER.tv and Brave Network Enter into Advertising Partnership
Theta Network, an end-to-end Blockchain-based video streaming infrastructure for technical and economic applications, and Brave, innovative privacy browser, have joined forces. The two, billed as arguably the most adopted decentralized projects, are partnering for advertising purposes.
Thrilled to announce @SLIVERtv360 / Theta Network is an ad partner on the Brave Ads platform. https://t.co/QOEmTn5nYx ads are now featured in the Brave browser for users who opt into Brave Rewards. More details on our joint marketing campaign here: https://t.co/aOoP4d45jn pic.twitter.com/fxSlRtL1Ew

The advertising partnership, according to SLIVER.tv now has the decentralized video streaming platform, operating as a Verified Publisher on the browser. Consequently, Brave browser is officially a sponsor on Theta’s SLIVER.tv and will run commercials along with other streamers.
Brave Isn’t Like Any Ordinary Browser
It is a cutting-edge Blockchain-powered privacy browser with a digital marketing platform and over seven million active users every month. Unlike common browsers, this browser rewards each of them for choosing privacy-preserving ads, giving them a whopping 70% of all the revenue in ads in ERC-20 Basic Attention Tokens (BAT).
Active users already using Theta Network’s SLIVER.tv now stands at over three million, even as the numbers keep growing. The platform is, thus happy with this strategic partnership because it will not only reach the millions using the browser but also use it to drive BAT token adoption.
However, the campaign is already split into phases. Phase 1 will see them run a joint marketing campaign whereby each partner will promote the other, although Brave browser’s ads will additionally include a promise of Brave Rewards.
Free Tokens and Customer Acquisition
According to Theta Labs, the partnership is a huge customer acquisition strategy for both partners, besides driving adoption of BAT tokens. A Brave user will have an opportunity to stream video using SLIVER.tv and earn free TFUEL as well as getting familiar with Theta Network.
Those streaming videos online via SLIVER.tv and has earned TFUEL possibly understand the value of free tokens already. And so, upon seeing ads promoting the Blockchain-based, privacy-oriented Brave browser, such a person may immediately start using Brave browser.
Meanwhile, Brave browser has been appointed as the official browser for viewing videos on Theta network. This effectively means that one may earn free BAT tokens for viewing ads on the browser and still rack in TFUEL for streaming them on Theta Network.
There will be a live AMA with teams of both Brave and SLIVER.tv in a few weeks. Parts of what the discussion will center on include the possibility for more integrations between them in the future.
