Top 4 Bitcoin Mining Giant Slushpool Improves Infrastructure and Adds Zcash Servers
Slushpool Improves Its Infrastructure In China With Zcash Servers
Slushpool, which was the first Bitcoin mining pool in the world to have mined more than 1,000,000 BTC, has decided for an upgrade. The pool, which exists since 2010, way before cryptos were cool and mainstream, has announced to the media today that it is expanding its infrastructure in China.
There will now be created several new server locations within China with an alternative server hosting providers, which is aimed to increase the availability of the system and to improve redundancy control. The new servers will also be used to mine Zcash as well as Bitcoin.
According to our information, Slushpool will not restrict any Zcash ASIC mining or Equihash mining in general, so they should probably work using the basic Stratum protocol.
The company affirmed that both the Antminer Z9 mini and the Innosilicon Equihash A9 ZMaster are confirmed to be working.
