Trippki Announces Its 1.6 Million Hotel Platform Will Be Accepting Cryptocurrency Payments

Trippki Announces Its Hotel Platform Will Be Accepting Cryptocurrencies

Crypto adoption continues to increase as new companies and firms embrace the most popular digital asset in the market. Trippki announced that the Trippki Hotel Beta will be accepting virtual currencies for hotel rooms and stays.

Trippki Hotel Beta Accepts Digital Assets

Trippki is a hotel booking platform that is based on Ethereum (ETH) and it will be accepting digital assets from users that want to pay for their hotels. The firm aims at creating a better relationship between guests and hotels. Once the guest uses the platform, users receive rewards in Trip.

This is not the first integration that the company has performed with the crypto market. In the past, the firm allowed users to purchase hotel rooms with XRP. This attracted the attention of the XRP community that is very active on social media.

Now, the company has added support to Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Monero (XMR), allowing users to use their favorite virtual currency to pay for their hotel stay.

This is not the first time that there is a company accepting virtual currencies for plane tickets, hotels or other touristic attractions. Bitcoin.Travel is perhaps one of the most popular and recognized sites that are dedicated to travel and Bitcoin (BTC). Users can easily purchase flights, hotels, accommodations, attraction tours and more, just by using Bitcoin. The site is operating in the market since July 2011.

This would clearly help increase adoption of virtual currencies. Not only the price performance is the most important but also the benefits related to using these digital assets.
